A popular family day out with something to do for everyone. The lakes are suitable for swimming, and sometimes there are pedalos for hire. There is a small man made beach area and adventure playgrounds for the children. The forest is ideal for a nature walk, bird watching or for cycling. There is also a snack bar or picnic areas if you prefer to bring your own traditional French basket.
Velo Rail: Through woods and valleys, trundling over metal bridges, follow an old railway track, discovering countryside which reveals picturesque architecture and railway stations as they used to be. A five seater rail cycle (two pedalling and three passengers) will take you from the station at Corgnac sur Isle to the station in Chatignoles, near Thiviers.

If you fancy packing a collapsible fishing rod, the river Dronne is ideal for amateurs and/or professionals. However, you do need to buy a permit - carte de pêche. These are available if you talk nicely to the lady in the bar "Chez Marie" which is on the right as you drive in to Lisle. You can purchase either a one day, a two day, or a two week permit. Now you are free to fish. From personal experience the river Dronne, which flows through Lisle, is ideal for a good catch... And what better way to finish your day off than either a drink at "Chez Marie" or a meal at Le Moulin du Pont restaurant, which is just nearby.
